The Water Element is when the hand sack remains on any legal body surface, while going thru various forms and movements using “Inertia”.
That “Inertia” can also be used to keep it there at all time (Flow)… or until transferred to another surface (Transfers). These two are part of the SNAKE STYLE.
That “Inertia” can be used until the sack is tossed or caught, often crossing other body parts. (Contortionism)… That is the MONKEY STYLE.
MONKEY STYLE … AKA “CONTORTIONISM”.
“Underarm” (lower arm) & “Cascade” (upper arm): Cross under the other arm completely, then toss and catch with other hand.
“Under leg” & “Cross-Under leg” & “Under leg Catch”: Cross under the chosen leg completely, before tossing and catching. Bring the leg up so it goes along with the momentum of the toss.
“Crab”: Outside under the leg catches with both feet on ground.
“Spider”: Inside under the leg catches with both feet on ground.
“Yoga”: Inside inverted under the leg from inside to outside.
“DNA”: Crossing other leg from outside to inside.
“Houdini”: Between legs crossing, from front to back. Both feet must be on the ground.
“Cross-Country”: Between legs crossing, from back to front. Both feet must be on the ground.
“Behind the Back” (BTB) & “No strings attached” (to other hand): Go crossing behind your back, and lean back a bit to help, and avoid hitting the other arm or shoulder during the toss.
“Cross Behind the Back Catch” (CBBC): Cross one arm all the way behind your back and as much in front as possible to make a catch. Open up that other arm to make space.
“Ninja”: Upside down catch and slide to the side back to normal.
“Dare-Devil”: Toss it behind your neck blindly from one hand to another.
“Duck”: Toss around and over your neck to the other hand passing by the front.
“Psycho”: From one hand crossing to the other hand crossing, toss it behind your neck blindly from one hand to another.
“Musketeer”: Behind the back going thru the arm loop with hand on hip.
“In-Spin”: Toss it up and do a full spin on yourself before catching it.
“MVP”: Catch over your shoulder with arm bent up and backward to catch. To toss from there is a “Catapult”.
SNAKE STYLE…AKA… FLOW
“Half-Pipe” (letter U)
“Around the World” (letter O, clockwise & counter) & “Figure 8”
“Vert” (letter C) & “Re-Vert” (outside): Make the sack and backhand go completely upside down using inertia. This zero G feeling, last only a very short moment.
“Cradle” & “Cross-Cradle”: Like a military salute, from arm extended in front, bend back the forearm backward until it gets over the shoulder.
“Paint the Fence” (up and down) & “Paintbrush” (sideways): Keep it on the backhand going up and down.
“Snake” (forward) & “Crane” (backward): Arm-twisting to come back to normal. (see video)
“Roller Coaster” & “Loop”: (see video).
SNAKE STYLE … AKA “TRANSFERS”.
Transfers are when the distance between a Toss and a Catch has been reduced to none or close to.
“FU” (crossing arms inwards) & “RE-FU” (crossing arms outwards): Crossing backhands like an X doing transfers.
“Heartbeat” (inward) & “Windmill” (outward): Back hand to back hand transfers without crossing except fingers.
“Flat 8” aka “Worm” (Vert-slider infinite): Go vertical to slap it back on the other hand.
“Rainbow” (overhead) & “Long Bow” (forward): Toss from hand to another going over the head.
“Iverson”: Transfer going around the waist.
“Kobe”: Transfer going between the legs.
“Guillotine”: Transfer going around the neck.
