The Fire Element is when the hand sack is subject to an impact. When the impact is using any one legal surface, except the back of the hands, it is a HIT and it’s part of the “HORSE STYLE”. When the hand sack gets impact between any two legal surfaces, it’s a TRAP and it’s part of the “BEAR STYLE”.
“BEAR STYLE” … AKA “TRAPS”
“Pinch”: Trap between any two fingers.
“Venus Fly Trap”: Trap between the two backhands crossing and pointing up. This also the salut of the art of the hand sack.
“Seal”: Trap between the two backhands not crossing.
“Hulk”: Trap between the two fronts of the fists.
“Nutcracker”: Trap between the two front rows of knuckles.
“Chopper”: Trap between the two top fists, like handle bars of bike.
“Long Sword”: Trap between one top fist and one bottom of fist, like holding a sword.
“Anvil”: Trap between a fist and an elbow.
“Lotus” aka “Bear Trap”: Trap between the two insides of wrists, with hands pointing up. Crossing hands gives “Dracula”.
“Cross-Bones”: Trap between two forearms crossing. Crossing inward is the “Gladiator”.
“Squeeze”: Trap between the forearm and upper arm inside the elbow. To toss from there by extending the arm is called the “Sling Shot”.
“Jabba”: The fat double chin trap. Trap between the chest and the chin.
“Thinker”: Trap between the forehead and the front of a fist, looking down.
“Baguette”: The Arm-pit trap.
“Leg Pinch”: Behind the knee, bending the leg. Standing on one leg recommended.
“The Captain”: Trap between the top of fist and the knee with that leg off the ground.
“HORSE STYLE” … AKA “HITS”
“Split Chop”: Judo Chop on one side of the hand sack that makes it flips on the backhand finishing the chop.
“Tipster”: Index hitting the hand sack to make it spin just likes a helicopter.
“Popeye” aka “Uppercut”: Front of fist punch coming from underneath.
“Popper”: A hit from the inside of the elbow created by a precise extension of the arm.
“Wing Attack”: A hit using the outside of the arm bent 90 degrees.
“Mantis Attack”: Bottom of the elbow going up to hit, think of a Praying Mantis.
“Tackle”: A shoulder hit.
“Bodyguard Attack”: Back of the elbow hitting behind the back from underneath.
“Happy Buddha”: Belly hit. Size matter.
“Melon Popper”: Forehead hit.
“Trampoline”: Hitting/bouncing off an extended by hands shirt or such.
“Knee Pop”: Knee hit, equal or lower than belt line.
“Toe Kick”: Toe kick in front near floor level. Flick the foot and do the kick when leg is well extended.
“Inside Kick”: Inside of foot kick in front.
“Outside Kick”: Outside of foot kick, to the side.
“Back Kick”: Outside of foot kick behind the back. Body open up to the same side following behind.
“Jester Kick”: Inside foot kick, crossing behind other leg. Hit near the back of knee of other leg.
“Flying Clipper Kick”: Jumping with an Inside foot kick, crossing behind other leg.
“Butterfly Kick”: Flying Clipper with a leg and body jumping over it.
“Dragonfly Kick”: Inside Kick with the other leg going over it before the kick.
