Earth

The Earth Element is when the hand sack is simply caught on any one* legal surface. Above the belt line is the “EAGLE STYLE”. Below the belt line is the “DRAGON STYLE”. *To catch on top of more than one legal surface is to “Plateau”.
“EAGLE STYLE”… AKA “UPPER BODY CATCHES”.

“Regular Catch”: On the back of the hand of course, it’s also considered the basic element and concept of the art of the hand sack.

“Spiderman”: Inside of the wrist, and don’t forget to do the web slinger hand posture.

“Thor” (front) aka “Hammer” (top): Closed fist catch.

“Watchman”: Top of wrist as if looking at the time on a watch.

“Revolver” aka “John Wayne”: Index pointing and thumb up, gun alike posture, catch between those two fingers.

“Shark”: Hand side ways, thumb pointing down, catch on the bottom of the hand with pinky facing up.

“Wing”: Catch on the side of elbow, with the arm bent 90 degrees, horizontal to the floor.

“In-Wing”: Catch on the inside of elbow, with the arm bent 90 degrees and bending inward, as much horizontal to the floor as you can.

“Rubber-Arm”: Catch on the top of elbow, with the arm stretched out, horizontal to the floor.

“Frankenstein”: Catch on the side/inside of elbow, with the arm stretched out, horizontal to the floor.

“Mantis”: Bottom of elbow, with arm in the air, bent more than 90 degrees going backward and holding neck.

“Arnold”: On the bicep, pumping show-off catch, with a big smile please.

“Body Guard”: Top of upper-arm elbow, behind the back, with the arm bent 90 degrees and pointing down, as much horizontal to the floor as you can, crouch a bit if need be.

“Parrot”: Catch on top of shoulder.

“Guillotine”: Catch on the back of neck. Roll recommended to toss it back up.

“Pinocchio”: Catch on the nose.

“Head Stall”: Catch on top of the head, look in front and bend down with knees a bit.

“Third Eye”: Catch on the forehead, looking up in the air.

“Slap”: Catch on the side of the face, bent the head sideways.

“Eye Patch”: Catch on the eye. Do close the eye before catching!

“Brooksie”: To catch on the baseball hat lid. Material required.

“Limbo”: Catch on the chest, while bending back a bit.

“Back Stall”: Catch on your back while crouching down a bit. To toss back up, spin 180.
“DRAGON STYLE” … AKA “LOWER BODY CATCHES”.

“Knee”: Catch on top of knee/upper leg with leg off the ground and way up.

“Toe Stall”: Catch on top front of foot with leg off the ground going way up on toss and way down on catch but not touching the floor.

“Inside Stall”: Catch on the inside of foot, in front and close to other leg. Bend knees to help absorb and balance as well.

“Outside Stall”: Catch on the outside of foot, with leg bent and as much horizontal to the floor as possible, use opposite hand stretched out for balance.

“Sole Stall”: Catch on the sole of foot, horizontal to the floor as much as possible.

“Heel Stall”: Like an “Inside Stall”, but with toes pointing to the floor, can also be done in the back.

“Calf Stall”: Leg up and bent, do on the side.

“Tibia”: Front bone of lower leg with leg up and stretched out.
WITH DEXES…

“Clipper Stall” AKA “Jester”: “Inside Stall”, crossing behind the other leg.

“Gwai”: Outside to inside under the leg catch with “Inside Stall”.

“Oasis”: Inverted on the outside “Inside Stall”, going to a “Clipper Stall” to toss.

“Dragon”: Like a “Clipper Stall” with foot bent inward, so the catch is on the outside/heel.
